Ohio International Appoints Founding Board of Trustees
Ohio International College, a newly created, independent non-profit educational institution
located in Columbus, Ohio announces the formation of its inaugural Board of Trustees.
The College is currently seeking authorization from the Ohio Board of Regents to offer a Certificate in Translation.
Individuals named to the Board of Trustees are:
- Ms. Elizabeth Clark, Planning Consultant, Columbus, Ohio.
- Mr. Koji Hanya, President, Column, Inc., Sakura, Chiba, Japan.
- Mr. Raymond Irwin, Chief Academic Officer, Ohio International College, Columbus, Ohio.
- Mr. Hideo Ishikawa, President, Ohio International College, Columbus, Ohio.
- Mr. Hiroyuki Omori, Manger, Technical Planning Group, Honda of America Manufacturing, Dublin, Ohio.
- Ms. Rene Rimelspach, Associate, Eastman & Smith Ltd., Columbus, Ohio.
- Ms. Janet Stucky Smith, Executive Director, Japan-America Society of Central Ohio, Columbus, Ohio.
The College's bylaws mandate that at least seven Trustees be appointed initially with
consideration “given to achieving diversity of gender, race, and ethnic origin.”
Appointments have been made in a variety of areas of professional competence and leadership,
with particular focus on business, law, education, and government.
