OIC Faculty Teaching Load Policy
Due to an extremely low student-faculty ratio, full-time faculty will be expected to teach at least 18 credit hours
(270 student contact hours) per semester. Part-time faculty will be expected to teach at least 3 credit hours and no more
than 15 credit hours (45 to 225 student contact hours) per semester.
On an annual basis, full-time faculty teach no less than 54 credit hours (810 student contact hours) and may teach more
in order to compile future release time.
